The delusion in that thread is INSANE
Anglos malding and in denial that the rest of the world hates the US.
Lots of people in there with the biggest brained takes such as "actually Bush was right and Saddam did have WMDs" and "actually you cant trust Muslim nations when they say China isn't committing genocide, because those nations have a history of human rights violations. You must however accept the US and EU when they say China is committing genocide, because they apparently have a great record when it comes to human rights."

As a South African, I see the difference. The US opposes land reform in my country, that is the return of land stolen during colonialism and apartheid to its original owners, and buys into white genocide lies that gets amplified by people like Fox News and Pomeo.

Western libs love to delude themselves that the world is on their side. This is only reinforced by the fact that their only interactions with non-Westerners are likely to be white worshipping upper/upper middle class English speakers. In reality the real world majority completely rejects the barbaric Western ideology as antithetical to their sacred cultures and way of life.
It's not that they think the rest of the world is on their side. It's that they don't consider the rest of the world actual people. In other words, they don't consider the rest of the world to really count as the rest of the world. To them, the world belongs to the West. The world IS the West. Everything outside of it is nothing more than the West's property/playground.
