More than 160 drug convictions tied to Goines have since been dismissed by prosecutors.
A cop seems to have been caught lying during a bunch of arrests so they're clearing his drug convictions.
This is why bad cops are a big problem. Even if most of said arrests were valid, we can't be sure because he lied to obtain some of them.

It doesn't matter, is the thing. This happens fairly often, when a cop gets caught lying to secure arrests, basically all of their arrests come under serious scrutiny.

Discerning that sounds like more effort than literally any burger has ever made. They probably just throw out all cases. Not like the prisons are gonna end up empty for it, and they'll catch the same people soon enough for another crime as well.
