Hope there will sometimes be an update to change the visuals of stars and black holes. It's definitely needed. This could be a nice addition.

I ran into my first white dwarf yesterday….. don’t think I’ll be trying this kinda stuff again for a long while

White dwarfs suck, use the neutron star instead, big difference between the two.

So are you looking at every star on your jump path or using the map in some tricky way?

I’ve mostly done combat and the map seems kinda rough to navigate honestly, I usually have to search a place to be able to select it.

Neutron boosts are mostly for particularly long hauls, and you can set your route planner to use "Jet Cone Boost". It automatically diverts you to Neutrons near your path and plots the next jump to around the max distance of your supercharged FSD.
