Looking for specific NewGRF
Is there a NewGRF where you can build curved rails and 1:2 slopes like in mobile?

I've heard of grf's with 16 sprites per vehicle unit??? which make the illusion of a curved corner, but tracks and half slopes, I don't think its possible.

Tbh this is my biggest problem with all (semi) isometric games. Even Anno 1800 could not deliver smooth train track curves. I know it's childish but that ruins a lot for me.

Well I am here sitting thinking that RCT had curves and it was built off the same engine, right?

Are you about Locomotion (or maybe OpenLoco)? It's different games with different mechanics, you just can't build this in OpenTTD.

I don't think those are NewGRF features; I think they'd have to be added directly to the game engine.
Are you sure you were playing OpenTTD?
I'm 99% sure they were playing Transport Tycoon. This is a new/different game released in 2013 for mobile devices.
More specifically its a mobile port of Chris Sawyer's Locomotion.
Spiritual successor to TTD based on the Rollercoaster Tycoon engine.
