persona 5 doesnt have a native ps5 version, so the load speed arent as shorter as they would be if it were a ps5 game, only a liiiittle faster than ps4

I was deciding between having the game on switch bc of portability, but the graphics....oh man...the game has such a beautiful artstyle that the switch downgrades a lot :(

so i'll probably buy the ps version

I fully recommend the PS5 version. The switch version doesn’t run particularly great and the load times are 2 seconds long compared to the 6-7 PS4 load times (not sure how long the Switch load times are though).

You’ll find yourself wishing you had the ps5 imo. You’re navigating menus constantly plus the combat is in real time, so load speeds and performance are pretty big deals.

It runs really well on low end pc’s though, so it probably does decent on switch.

I had long load times for some reason(even installed on an SSD). Also was crashing at one particular boss that required some janky workaround that someone posted awhile ago. Didn't play after the Steam patch though, had already beaten and uninstalled.

Ran fine once stuff was loaded though. Super enjoyable roadtrip with the crew.

Played persona 5 royal, enjoyed it quite a lot, and then played this

This isn't a bad game, but it's very different from the original game where it ditches the turn bases rpg and turned it into dynasty warrior persona edition

It also removes the social links, romancing, and time management from the original, the part which I really enjoyed. The story for me felt like a watered down version of persona 5 royal's story, even though it's not bad.

So yeah, can't really recommend this game. If you have played persona 5 but haven't played royal, I suggest you play royal instead of this. The royal extra story is a lot better than this spinoff sequel IMO.
