I'm looking to buy one of their cold-water baselayers, but they a) didn't respond to my email, and b) the check-out process is downright sketchy. Has anyone bought anything from them recently?

so i'm kinda late to the party. that online checkout does seem pretty sketch, which surprises me. i have a nice top from them, it's neoprene on the front and back, and some super comfortable material on the sides and sleeves that keeps you warm when its wet. the quality is amazing. it's my favorite piece of coldwater gear. i think i paid like $50, but it's lasted 3 very very hard seasons and shows no signs of wear.
i've never had to deal with their customer support. i'm sorry to hear they didn't call you back.
Late to the party indeed! But yeah, my dad has a coldwater top, a little bit too large for me, but I'm still insanely jealous. Dries crazy fast, bombproof, warm, and comfortable even under a wetsuit.
I don't know anything about the company or their products but DON'T use that online checkout.
It's not encrypted for starters. they probably store your data plain text in a database. Its illegal to process or hold credit card details without complying the PCI standards which they're quite clearly not. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole even if their products where just what I wanted
EDIT: Its partially encrypted (so some elements on the page might not be sent encrypted) but really as a small company they should be using a thirdparty checkout system, I ran a test order and nothing was checked so its probably vulnerable to form injection of one type or another.
That's what was worrying me. And I can't find their stuff, new or used, anywhere else. >:(
You could always give them a telephone call and order that way, probably safer than their website. If your happy they're legit that is, that checkout system is really sketchy though, probably not worth the risk imo
They're legit, and their coldwater gear is pretty sweet. My dad has a shirt from them, and you could go swimming in it, and be dry three minutes later.
