It's because whether they admit it or not, it's entirely religious based and Christianity is pretty cucked; they're not suppose to kill things. It's also why I hate abortion arguments, a lot of leftoids try to pretend the argument isn't about whether conception immediately creates a person. Rightoids won't admit that it's just a church norm and if some r-slur US puritan 100 years ago decided that a soul is granted at birth, a lot of them would be on the other side of the argument.
