Also what buttons are you guys using these days in your arcade sticks? I have the default ones that came with the Hitbox, but I don’t like them too much. I have big hands and I tend to use a lot of force when pushing buttons. I don’t intend to but I have a hard time controlling my strength.
If you like harder presses Seimitsu buttons with heavier springs or keyboard switch-based buttons with heavier resistance or longer travel might be for you.
The hitbox comes with sanwa buttons, they are quite sensitive, if you want something that you can rest your fingers on try seimitsu ps-14g i use them they are soft to touch but you can rest your fingers on them, they also have a nice sound. I would keep the directions as sanwas tho as they are slightly more responsive
Sanwa translucent yellow, they pop like crazy on black and white
If you have the cutout art I would go with some clear Crowns and stick the art in them. I personally use Crowns and I love them. Super smooth and crisp buttons that use MX Speed Silvers (same mechanical switches used on some keyboard).
If you don’t I’d still go the Crown route since you wanna do something different. Maybe all white buttons would look clean or do your movement/Jump button white and the rest all black or vise versa, black movement buttons and white attack buttons. But yea idk I think all white would be hella clean!
