If you have an extra car, put it on Turo

Car rental prices are insanely high right now. You could make more money letting people drive themselves in your car than driving it yourself.

Don’t do it! If you truly have an extra car that you don’t need for the foreseeable future just sell it ASAP to Carmax. If you thought uber/lyft’s insurance coverage is crummy, Turo’s is multitudes worse. And the likelihood of a renter damaging your car is a question of when, not if. Really do your research on this one.

Damn, your correct. I just checked. The economy cars that were $34-$40 per day are now $89-$100. That’s crazy.

I’d never rent my car out to some random asshole. People drive rentals hard and don’t gaf.

And some lenders if on a lien/Loan won’t allow you to do that.

If you list your car on TURO you can supply your own commercial insurance if you choose.

Hahaha...you’re saying I can earn more than $300-$800/day?! Because that’s what I’m making on uber

Subtract minimum wage for the hours you're driving from that number.

I just returned from Denver where I rented a 2020 Jeep Cherokee for $210 for 4 days/3 nights using Turo with their premium insurance...my 2020 Camry isn’t making $50/day even lol

$65-90/hour
