Capture every workshop you can. defend them all.

Run crappy events like Wolf Horde when they pop up.

take anything and everything that offers an XP boost during said workshop captures and events.

and daily quests. Some are faster to run than others.

Like, from the vault?

I have a plan for leveling my next alt, I've already got the materials for; I'm just waiting for double xp weekend.

  1. Level 1 Unyielding Armor - I have a full set, with one piece being +1 INT
  2. Toxic Goo/Radaway - Low levels are too squishy to play bloodied full time, so I got some toxic goo, to get bloody and radaway to get unbloody.
  3. Berry Mentats - This, along with the level 1 UnY chest piece being biocommesh, will allow for 8 minutes of +5 intelligence
  4. Egghead Serum - I heard that you cannot be mutated until level 5; I haven't fact checked that, but I have egghead serum, just in case (eventually, I'll be level 5 anyway)
  5. Lunchboxes - I bought into that 40 lunchboxes for 1000 atoms deal, on several characters.
  6. 2nd account - Technically, this theoretical alt I'm leveling, is on the 2nd account, but all the supplies, and the fast travel point, will come from the other account. Bonus, this gives me a constant teammate, on my casual team; even if other teammates bail during this leveling run, I still have this one constant.

In the experiment I am going to run, I will be doing Mistaken Identity: Four easily completed quests, with huge XP payouts. The last time I tried this, I only had 1 piece of unyielding armor, was already level 5, not mutated, no lunchboxes, and it wasn't double XP weekend. I still made it from level 5 to level 14. I'm predicting a jump from level 2, to at least 16 for this experiment.

For max effect on buffs, run either carnivore or herbivore mutation. Carnivore use canned meat soup and scorchbeast brains, herbivore use cranberry relish and brain bombs.

Probably farming the Queen's homies, if you get a run when she spawns them aggressively. If you don't kill her you get high-exp enemies very quickly.
