Just CAMP junk... fishing boats, canoes, air mattresses, floaties... that sort of thing. Something to add some flash to the rivers and puddles that are near our homes?

'Tis such a small thing to ask, no?

(disclosure, I've got about 450 hours in the game, over a whole ton of "themed characters' " lifespans)

I have a "realistic" character that I really enjoy playing, but I haven't played him for quite a while, instead choosing my ridiculous two-handed character.

I came across the *perfect* spot for my "realistic" characters CAMP, finally, so I fired up the game and loaded him in. Spent a couple days building his CAMP, and realized I had never gotten a backpack for this guy, so off to Morgantown Airport I went.

Personal rules: No VATS, single shot .44 pistol, and a double barrelled shotgun. He's wearing piecemeal leather armour. Carrying only 6 stimpacks, a couple of bottles

Which? And why? Logic says to me that ignoring 75 pts of armour is of greater benefit than added damage, but I’m unsure how these work mechanically.

For example… Is “20% extra damage” before or after modifiers for str and other perks? (Modified base damage only?)

Just curious. I’m at a point where I need to make some choices for two handed melee character. And I’m unsure what to give up.

So… my survival tent exists in game for my character, but when I attempt to move it, my Only option is the APC. I can’t change it in the Atom Shop (only the APC shows up in the FO1st options) and I can’t change it when placing it.

My gut says I’m just an idiot, But I need someone to confirm that fact for me…

Got me a Grognak's axe yesterday that I can swing 40% faster... so into the scrap bin goes my old Grognaks Axe...

Now... is that JUST a 40% reduction in time between pressing the button, and the weapon hitting? Or is it a 40% reduction in time between attacks, resulting in more DPS?

Is it too much to ask for a simple white tank top and blue jeans with boots?

(this is the point where someone comes along and tells me it's already in game, and I just haven't seen it yet)

I want a separate roleplaying world, with no magic weapons or armour.

Fixed builds, with an option to respec once every 10 levels. No perk swapping outside of that 1/10 respec.

I want a game where choice matters, and character matters. As it stands, if I can change it up whenever I want, there's no consequences to anything. I look around and see cookie cutter builds and characters, with near-zero charm.

I get that this isn't everyone's idea of fun, which is why I suggest a separate server for it. Just as there's players who gravitate towards Meta-builds and NW, there are players on the other end of that spectrum too.

Title. I never see anyone creating teams for anything other than Ops, now. I mean, I get it, for high levels that have been to every location and done every event and so on... but I rarely see any teams for anything else any more, even when the world has a high number of low-mid level characters.
