Just CAMP junk... fishing boats, canoes, air mattresses, floaties... that sort of thing. Something to add some flash to the rivers and puddles that are near our homes?

Or you can find one static in world and build around it? There's a spot near the Nuka Cola plant with a boat in the middle and canoe nearby on the shore. I built a base with a dock there.
Honestly, the best camp builds I see are usually those integrated in the world. I will never forget that 1 camp I visited built into the Watoga tunnels... so good.
Nope. I have found my version of in-game Nirvana. I have been searching for this spot since I started playing shortly after launch, and I have finally found it. It's perfect... for me... but it needs a damned canoe. ;)

Oh i absolutely love my raider camp at monogah mines. Also the free chems from the raider npcs are nice too
When people include static NPCs it just adds more life into the camp right? I've seen a few built around the BOS checkpoint between the Wayward and Flatwoods. Hung around longer than usual and saw the NPCs interact with camp items too.
Plus there's usually an unlimited weight container nearby for when you want to transfer items between toons.
Curioous... how do you ensure you get back into the same server, when you transfer crap like that?
Teams or private world, and you gotta be quick about it.
There’s a bos checkpoint just south of fort atlas my camp suddenly found itself in when the bos returned. It’s pretty cool to have a busy camp.
I built a war museum around an APC and tank. It looks great, but I don't like the location. I was REALLY hoping I could work the APC 1st tent into it somehow, but obviously it conflicts.
It would be cool if they added bundles that corresponded to each CAMP icon you can choose from: Submarine icon? lake/ocean bundle; Ruins icon? crumbling infrastructure/hollowed out cars... etc.
I built a house boat on the lake under Thunder Mountain would be nice to put some kayaks or something near my dock instead of just the messed up boat I used to build out there.
You'll get a boat,.. but it'll be attached to a big concrete base and you will only be able to place in on land.
This won't happen because it would allow you to, potentially, put a camp up in a place where it can't be attacked (which is something Bethesda wants to happen.) We can confirm Bethesda wants your camp to be attacked because the popular 'serene' locations at the edges of the in-game map keep getting patched to have enemies appear.
Meh. I'm not personally attached to the idea of my whole CAMP on the water... but I would like a canoe down by the water's edge, or a sunken fishing boat by my dock, ya know? Or, maybe a Houseboat at the end of a dock, or has to be parked at the water's edge. Something like that. Just to add some "flavour" that matches the location of those waterfront CAMPs.

Nah, Let it be placed on land too. There are plenty of beached ships and boats all over Appalachia.
