Is Otaku-Games.com a legit site?
Apologies of this is off-topic. I ordered a 6-port RGB Scart switch from this website around 6 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything since. I have had bad experiences with the generic scart switches you can buy on Amazon, to the point where I now just switch them behind the TV manually. I thought I would splash out on a good quality one but I'm afraid I've just thrown my money away.

That is the official site yes. Otaku makes awesome switchers. They probably are having component difficulties like everything else. Did you try sending an email?
The guys otaku switches are the passive ones with physical buttons, they don't have any silicon in them, they just use 6pdt switches to change which port is electrically connected to the output, so a chip shortage shouldn't be a big deal. They recently made an automatic switch, but that one outputs high voltage that can break your equipment if you use a sync stripper or accidentally power on two consoles at once, so I would recommend avoiding it.
Okay thanks, I'll give them some more time. They did say any order would take 2-3 weeks, it's just that it's gone way past that. I guess I didn't consider the components shortage would affect this.
Did they end up responding to you? Curious about ordering from them
I got an email notification that it was dispatched earlier today, so it's around an 8-9 week wait.
Did you end up receiving the switch? I ordered one, and it's been "processing" for the last 3 weeks. I've sent multiple emails and messages, but no response.
