Ordered a Pixel 4a - am I going to have activation issues/are they going to try to push me to T-Mobile plan?

I ordered a Pixel 4a direct from Google the other day and it should be arriving tomorrow. I have a Pixel 4 with an esim right now and I recall having to chat Sprint and explain to them that I was trying to activate an esim, because they were trying to tell me to swap out the sim from my old phone...so I anticipate having to go through this with them again.

Is Sprint still even going to be an esim profile option? Is support going to try to push me over to T-Mo to activate? I haven't activated a new device since they started integrating?
