Nice Player Drops today - Minigun available for trade (Expl, FFR)

I was just in my Camp this morning when a level 140-ish player dropped and and started to chat to me on his mic. Wanted to see if I wanted some Free stuff ... sure thing.

The next thing I know he started dropping all sorts of Guns, melee weps, Armor. Big heart Emoji.

When I quickly gathered in the loot find, and assessed value/worth I determined he had given me around 80-90k caps including an Bloodied, Explosive Minigun with 25% less Vats AP cost that should fetch close to max caps (it's in my machine for 30k but willing to negotiate trades if anyone on PS wants it. Prefer combo of pure flux and caps, but always looking for nice Handmades or Fixers, prefer Vampires or AA or Quad).

There are a bunch of other decent items (Bloodied etc) listed for caps in my vendor u/Eagleman58 on PS4 (I have multiple char's and this is my character "201" if you message me)

FYI - the gifter said he wasn't going to be playing the game anymore when I asked why he was doing this, so he was just being very nice to give away his stuff. He did similarly to another player that showed up at my camp this morning.

You can't have explosive and FFR on the same weapon...

...just saying.

My apologies, just logged back in. I will edit my op to read Bloodied, Explosive, 25% less Vats AP cost. I am the same Eagleman58 that had been on the old Beth Forum since launched almost 3 yrs ago.

I didn't say more cause it could have been simply a mistake like you say and was kind of expecting that when you said FFR you actually meant to say FR (faster reload), that would make that an incredibly good weapon, mind you that Bloodied and Explosive make it already a very good weapon.

But 30K? Don't forget that very soon people will start to make their own legendary weapons and armor.

Personally, I really don't get why people like miniguns, they are completely underpowered and a total waste of ammo IMO.

And they are still buggy as hell. They still fail to auto-reload when empty in 3rd person. You still get put in "slow down" mode while aiming down the sights in 3rd person and the only way to correct it is to reload or put your gun away. I don't know if bash helps.

I want to use miniguns but they suck comparatively.

EDIT: Oh yeah and you can't use a stimpak while the barrel is still spinning. Miniguns reek.

I use an FE minigun that I dropped about 2 years ago cos its still the best HW I've ever dropped & Mrs_MacFinn got to a .50 cal before me so I can't go .50 cal as she gets all the ammo - she's also had 2 v good LMGs so basically I'm screwed!

I really, really think that they underperform by a lot compared to all the rest.

They were great during the "magic" phase, after that, they are mostly trash IMO.

And, yeah, .50 cals and LMG's are far better, also IMO.

I heard Explosive and Furious don't mix as explosive breaks the furious prefix making it basically an explosive minigun with no other effect. That's what I heard anyways.

As a heavy weapons guy... miniguns are weapons u use for fun... not actual gameplay ^^ Using the TSE minigun in radiation rumble is like using a grenade launcher with cluster ammunition. And it looks the same as the exploding gatlingplasma except the enemies acutally survive a 2 second burst.

your feedback is appreciated. I am not a heavy weapons player so I have not really specced any of my characters that way in over 2000 hrs of gameplay. Not really a fan of the PA style.

I do take high level advice on pricing from the Fed76 site but easily recognize that one size does not fit all and I have learned to be very flexible on my sales price.

I think it will still be tough to roll your dream weapon with the new system but at least you can start with the preferred weapon type instead of the randomness of mumbles.

The kind of jerk that is not looking for maximum caps (if you actually read my comments above), just trying to negotiate some sort of fair trade. The character I have does not use heavy weapons, so looking for someone that has handmades or fixers that might like a nice minigun. Caps are generally easy to get in this game, but weapons with nice attributes are not. The new legendary crafting system may not help much in this regard, I guess we'll see. Anyhoo, I'll mark you down as a no thanks, allrighty then.

Sorry, maybe I misread the 'free drop/30k' part.

I read this as, if someone actually purchases the gear you will have made 30k less tax, on a freebie.

Nah, I just parked it there as a placeholder at outset, but have discounted it a lot since receiving feedback from forum members, which is what I sought (not to brag or anything). I am amenable to critiques.

The fact that another player stops by to drop stuff is a bit of a harbinger as/if player base of the game starts to wane.

You need to be wary of any player dropping stuff, especially high grade such as these items.

Anyway, no shit intended. I just go off on one sometimes as i don't use caps myself. :)
