Pretty much what the title says. I'm bringing 8 dudes to Siofok for the weekend, looking for funny shit to do, possibly involving locals. (EDIT: Yeah, we intend to drink)
Especially interested in local celebrations in the periphery (like the village patron saint celebrations in Slovenia).
Anyways, if anyone of you know about something going on, I'd be thankful if you'd let me know.

Once I asked on the German "Jodel" App if there is somebody near Balatonkiliti out of pure boredom.
To my suprise I got an immediate response and I have been invited to them.
I found a typical Hungarian village house full of people from Berlin. They all had Turkish origins, and they rented the house for an entire month. The reason for this temporary move to the Hungarian countryside was: "In Berlin, our neighborhood is full of Arabs nowadays - and here they are no Arabs".

It's not trash, it's just overrated. It is still the most popular place among tourists, but also that's why it's overrated.

I don't know, it's like my least favorite area around Balaton. It's just too crowded. But if you leave it in any direction, it's going to be fun. Drinking you can do anywhere, so you'll be fine.
