So the issue I have is that my wireless router doesn't have the range to cover entire house. I use an old linksys router with dd-wrt.

I'm one of the people who's actually quite comfortable with linux and cli, but I really really suck at networking.

A while ago I've tried to increase the wifi range by connecting another recycled scrap router, with little success. Now recently I've been told by a professional that actually you're not supposed to use a router, you're supposed to use an "access point".

I'm still unaware of how any of this works, but to me it seems like in essence, "WAP" is just a router with less ethernet ports, but it does provide a kind of "plug and play" experience that ro

Pretty much what the title says. I'm bringing 8 dudes to Siofok for the weekend, looking for funny shit to do, possibly involving locals. (EDIT: Yeah, we intend to drink)

Especially interested in local celebrations in the periphery (like the village patron saint celebrations in Slovenia).

Anyways, if anyone of you know about something going on, I'd be thankful if you'd let me know.

The video in question (the interesting part starts at 7:45):

So I haven't done this before, but hell, said I might as well try something new. I'm trying to assemble something commonly referred to as "winepak", where you try to put a windows application working through wine compatibility layer into a flatpak and make it possible for people with no wine experience to install. I found no good walkthrough on how to do one, save for this.

My question is: Is this video legit or a scam?

This is a weird one, because I'd never had these issues until recent updates. My desktop has multiple users, most notably me and my brother. We use two separate user accounts in order not to get too much into one another's way. The issue I have is, whenever I lock screen with ctrl+alt+L, or suspend the PC, or just walk away and have the session lock itself automatically, my brother can not under any circumstances switch to his user account without rebooting the entire PC. There's just no button to press with the entire graphical interface. Is this normal? Am I missing something? Because this honestly turns the PC unusable.

I'm using latest stable manjaro with KDE, AMD graphics with mesa dri
