Leather Is Starting To Open Up

This weekend in San Francisco would traditionally be the middle of what is only semi-jokingly referred to in San Francisco as 'The High Holy Days Of Leather'. It traditionally starts with Pride Weekend, the last weekend of June, continues on to the last weekend in July for the Up Your Alley Street Fair,and then ends at the end of September with the giant Folsom Street week. This year Pride was all but cancelled, with most events online and very few happening in real life. But now with Up Your Alley an interesting new invention is taking place. The Up Your Alley Street Fair, with all it's fun BDSM play areas, has been replaced, supposedly for this year only, with the Folsom Vendors Fair. No play in the streets except for your wallet, with artisans selling their kinky clothes and toys and none of the usual food and drink either. This is to keep the event going on a safer level with Covid still around. But we'll have to see how badly our kink starved community needs something like this.

Masks have just been requested once again throughout most of the bay area, so it's going to be interesting to see how many show, and how many will be in masks. I know I'll be masked. I need to be out in my leather community, but I don't need to die for it lol!
