New Asus G17 with RTX 2060. How much fan noise is normal?
I just purchased this yesterday (i7-10750H, 16GB RAM, RTX 2060) and the first game I tried was Shadow of the Tomb Raider on high settings. I noticed a significant increase in the fan noise and and the Armoury crate showed temperature of 75-77 C just after the game starts when I Alt-Tab.
I am new to dedicated gaming laptops and have no clue what temperature/fan speed is normal and when I should be worried and check with the store. How do I tell if something is wrong in the future?

RTX2060s hit a high of around 80 C in my experience, when being hit with a heavy load. And they’ll be quite load. That experience is normal. Part of using a laptop. I tend to wear good headphones, using a cooling pad, raise the laptop for better ventilation, or simply turn down some of the more graphic intensive settings to mitigate the heat and noise. All normal tho if u want the best performance.
I played for around 30 mins and I saw the temperature go up to 83 in some of the cutscenes. Is that still nothing to worry about?
Thank you for the response though, I know this is a very performance intensive game and I don't really need the absolute best visuals so will turn the graphics down a bit.
In my experience, GPUs max out around 80 and CPUs can max out at 100. As long as you are at, or below these numbers, you’re ok. Most people prefer the temps lower, but they are designed for the heat.
Thank you for all the info!
