For anyone wanting the tyre/surface coefficients, here you go. Excuse the quality but it's all I could find.

I've had this on my phone longer than that post has been up though?
I’m not saying you stole it, the image in that post also has bad quality. It’s for people who wanted to find the comments discussing it
Fair enough! Wasn't sure of the point of your post but that makes sense now
Original original post: with a clearer picture: link
I tried searching for that post quite a while ago and basically just wrote it off as something I’d never find. I really thought I’d never see this table again.
You found it so fast I must have been using the wrong keywords or just missing something.
I typed coefficient
I’m sure I tried that but 🤷♂️
Thanks! I knew all serfs and off roads were the same on gravel
Anyone else think slicks should be above 1 and off road below 1?
If you mean what I think you mean : no
How the hell do you get better than 100%?
Easier than writing that everything else should have worse grip than a slick tyre on dry asphalt.
It is mostly evened out with sheer stats.
Exactly this. If you put performance tires on a car that normally has slicks it will perform worse on dry asphalt. Thus changing it’s stats. All given stats for cars are on dry asphalt.
Pretty sure this is out of date. I think from old forum discussion this was from when 4WD added a fixed amount of traction regardless of tyre type.
They moved to a system where each combination of tyre and drive traction has its own friction coefficient, but I don't think those have been revealed.
Thanks!
Some heroes don't wear capes.
Took me an embarrassingly long time before someone pointed out to me that every handling stat on dry asphalt was equal.
Brilliant! Thank you!
