With our midfield lynchpin already having a one match suspension for yellow card accumulation and will no doubt pick up 5 more yellows before the WC meaning a two match suspension, we have a bit of a conundrum. How do you plug the massive gap that his suspension creates?

I've seen multiple options flying around online; Diop in the 6, Reed in the 6 with Cairney next to him, Chalobah coming in to replace as a "like for like", Reed and Pereira double pivot with TC in front.

I personally feel like we need to match Palhinha's physicality as close as possible and the only sensible option (IMO) would be bringing in Chalobah. Diop isn't a natural 6 and while neither is Chalobah, he played next to
