The woes of "big" feet...

I'm looking to buy a pair of climbing shoes, but finding ones in my size is extremely difficult. I wear size 11 shoes, and I can't find any cheap shoes in my size on amazon.... I didn't think I had big feet, do I? Or am I just being mentally challenged/not looking right?

That's not really all that big. I wear US-10.5, and I've had no trouble finding shoes.

You really should figure out what your Euro size is. I've found it easier to find the correct shoe using that system.

What do you mean by "cheap"? $100 is considered cheap by some, but if you're looking for something like $50, you might have a tough time.

Also, you'd probably have better luck with Moosejaw, Backcountry, or REI than Amazon.

13EEE here.... I wear size 45.5 Lasportiva and 10.5 fiveten.

Check REI, zappos, Moosejaw for "cheep". but keep in mind a "Cheap" climbing shoe is about 45-50$ every now and then they'll drop below, but those are the really small sizes.

We wear a similar size shoe. I was able to snag my first pair of Sportivas (the Mantis, iirc) for about $70 at a local outdoors store, and any other pair of shoes I've bought I've had no issue finding in my size and available to try on.

How are you defining "cheap?"

Have you considered Zappos or buying locally? There are some local shops in my town that I have always been able to find great shoes at, and I wear a size 15 US street. When i was looking for something specific, I managed to find it on Zappos. Cheap can also vary from person to person, I know some people who pick up used shoes from Craigslist, who get them "cheap."
