Bleed mechanic?
I'm running a campaign and was curious if there was anything like a bleed mechanic. I could just use poison, but I wonder if something exists somewhere.

We added Rending Attack in Pathfinder for Savage Worlds. If you are Shaken or worse by a Rending Attack, make a Vigor roll at the start (or end, I forget) of your turn. If you fail you take a Wound. If you succeed, you don't take the Wound and stop making the checks (or you keep making the check each turn and only stop on a Raise?). Any type of healing can end the effect prematurely.
At least, that's what I remember. It's hard to keep track of which version of the design went to print at this point.
Some creatures have especially vicious claws or weapons. Victims Shaken or Wounded by a rending attack are bleeding and must make a Vigor roll as a free action at the beginning of their next turn.
Failure causes one Wound and the victim must make another Vigor roll next turn. Success means the victim doesn't suffer a Wound, but must make a Vigor roll again next turn. A raise stops the bleeding and no further rolls are required from that attack. A successful Healing roll also stops the bleeding
As far I know there isn't. But you could use the Bleeding Out rules with some modifications. Basically at the start/end of the bleeding character turn he makes a Vigor roll, with a failure he takes 1 wound or 2 with critical failure, a success does nothing and a raise stop the bleeding. The bleeding can be stopped with Healing power or a Healing roll, or seared with fire maybe.
Yeah, that's more or less what we codified in Rending Attack in Pathfinder for Savage Worlds.
Now you talked about that I saw there is this monster ability in the book, never saw before (Or I saw but didn't remembered)
I like this. Thank you so much!
Depending on how bad bleed should be, I'd probably drop it down to Shaken on a failure instead.
