I posted a summary of a cool encounter from one of PestoEnthusiast's tests in the patrons channel of the MCDM Discord last month, but to kick off the new subreddit, I'll repost it here!

A goblin tribe raided a village and captured a hostage. They converted the tavern into a stronghold to fend off any rescue teams. We're the rescue team. (This is the second part of an A-B test, so we jump right into the fire.) We're outside the tavern. As a College of Harlequins Shadow, I peek through the window and let the goblins know, I'm On Your Side!. I weave an illusion and transform into a perfect copy of one of the goblin bodyguards. We'll call him Gerald. Luckily, their defenses betray them.

After 65 days between games, my group finally managed to sit down and delve into the second lair: The Hanging Tree! For folks who didn’t see the previous post, I’m running a campaign where each session is a lair from Where Evil Lives. In the time between games, my players advance their own plots. Then, at the start of the session, everyone describes what their characters have accomplished since last time and what brings them to the new lair. CONTEXT: My friend is starting a play-by-post game to learn Blades in the Dark. As I often do, I wrote something to give the other players and GM a sense of who the character is. And then I kitbashed together some graphics to present it as evocatively as possible. It's like a reverse handout (aka a handin)!

I am playing Władysław, an ex-Imperial Army lieutenant. Two months ago, he was in an "Administrative Unit" in Skovland rooting out dissidents. After the unit was mothballed by the generals, he had no prospects in his home city of Krak and came to Doskvol. He wrote this letter at the end of his first day in the new city:

I got to playtest the MCDM RPG at GameHole Con! Before I dive in, I want to clarify what this write-up is: I’ll summarize the story of what happened, talk about the mechanics that stood out to me, and focus on how the table publicly reacted to the game. Bear in mind I don’t have a copy of the rules in front of me, so I’m gonna get some game terms wrong. Unless you’re in danger of playtesting the RPG at a con soon, I wouldn’t worry too much about spoilers. That said, if you want to go into the game or adventure blind, stop reading here.

To start, we had six players, plus the GM. Five of these folks were strangers, one was my wife. And for the most part, it didn’t seem like anyone else at the

I'm running a bi-weekly campaign using Where Evil Lives and posting my thoughts in the discord, but someone suggested I post it to Reddit as well. Each session is one of the lairs from the book where the crew of drudgers (my setting's term for adventurers, inspired by Victorian toshers) come together to defeat the villain. Everything between sessions happens outside of the game, and the players have a little time to describe all the cool stuff they've gotten up to since the last game. Which is based on an idea Colville had in one of his livestreams (I think).

Hey folks, I'm in a bi-weekly Lancer game of No Room for a Wallflower (with a recent holiday break). I write after-action reports from the perspective of my character, MSMC Pilot Colt Walker, callsign Roughneck. You can check out the AAR for the first session, second session, or [third session here](https://www.reddit.com/r/LancerRPG/comments/yzl

Walker spent his youth as a wildcat miner flying rigs in the Kaska System, under the thumb of the brutal Roane Mining Consortium. He lost most of his family to RMC enforcers, so when a Union liberation team showed up to prepare the way for an invasion, he signed up as a partisan fi

Beyond the Rim features a damaged Hyperspace Message Pod as a main feature in the opening act. For my game, I wanted the players to have an actual message to listen to, so I made one! I am sharing it so other folks can use the audio in their games if they'd like.

Here's the damaged version of the message that I played for my group. I also wanted the exact location to be a bit of a puzzle, so the message is written to give the players the necessary clues to narrow down which planet the Sa Naalor crashed on:
