i absolutely love your style! and congratulations :)
You are beautiful! Loooove the shirt!
Gender envy??? Thus is exactly what I wanna look like omg you look STUNNING
ur too cool 😍🥺
And you’re looking gorgeous while doing it!
Sorry I'm still a bit new to the trans side of LGBTQ+ so what is estrogen? I apologize if this is rude to ask
estrogen is a hormone that most assigned female at birth bodies produce after starting puberty! if someone wants to transition with hormone replacement therapy, they can take estrogen (generally a pill form named estradiol) in order to see changes in their body that will reflect the introduction of the new hormones like breast tissue growth, softer skin, and body fat redistribution.
You’re right, but the scientist in me is begging to clarify that everyone produces estrogen and testosterone.
Like most hormones, it’s the amount that makes the difference, not that your body starts or stops having it altogether. Someone who is assigned female likely has significantly more estrogen (and progesterone) than testosterone, and vice versa for someone assigned male, but they’re all there.
thanks for the clarification!
Thank you for going out of your way to tell me :)
Not At All Rude! (Atleast To Me, Others Might Say Differently...) Estrogen Is A Hormone Naturally Produced By Female Bodies, Often Taken In Drug From By Transfeminine People, I Don't Know The Exact Effects Of It, But OP Explained Basically Exactly That In Another Comment Here.
No offense but your capitalization gives me high school flash backs 👀
I'm Not Quite Sure Why That Would Be, But I Shall Take It As A Compliment.
To be truthful, when memes were emerging in like I dunno, 2009/10, all the emo kids (myself included) Would Type On Facebook And MSN Like This, Capitalizing Every Word.
It was a thing to set them apart from the normies, but even back then doing it, I knew it was headache inducing lol
You look great!
What's That On Your Shirt? I Think I Recognise It, But Can't Quite Place Whence..
just a piece of keith haring art!

😍🤩 so much gender envy. You look great with your hair in a bandanna like that, and I’m getting some nice punk vibes
If it's alright, can I ask what it's like being on estrogen? What kind of changes do you notice?
estrogen is really interesting! for reference right now i'm on 1mg twice/day estradiol and 50mg twice/day spironolactone (used as a t-blocker), which is pretty much the floor for dose sizes.
biggest things noticeable off the bat have been my face shape has definitely changed, honestly i have less "jowls" than i did 3 months ago. i've also started growing breast tissue (i'm somewhere between an a cup and a b cup currently) and my libido is way down. i feel like at this point i'm just starting to notice shifts in my bodyfat distribution and the texture of my skin, and my body odor is starting to become noticeably different.
other things that are hard to attribute to estrogen because of my SSRIs: i bruise easier, my metabolism has slowed slightly making it easier for me to inadvertently gain weight. it hasn't made me cry like everyone says and i think thats due to my SSRIs also.
things i'm looking forward to: continued breast development, continued bodyfat redistribution, thinning body hair, and just the general sense of euphoria being on estrogen gives me!
Is there any way to limit breast growth?
I'll be honest, I'm not sure if I'll really feel dysphoria from them. I've had dysphoria from the beasts i DO have but I'm not sure if that's just because they aren't the right kind. But i know that I'm probably going to develop big ones and I'm scared i might hate them. If i could slow or limit it that would be amazing
What i have now is from being overweight. I've lost a lot of it and am in much better health but they don't just go away.
not as far as i know, i think it's kind of inevitable. i've definitely felt poor about my body in the past because of being overweight, but having actual breast tissue instead of just fat is a very different sensation in my personal experience. my favorite outfits now are tank tops and a sports bra.
if that's your only thing holding you currently you could also always buy a binder. i'm gonna be buying one later in my transition once my growth has mostly finished just for the
fluidityI've resolved myself to the fact that I'm probably going to transition, and if i really really hate my breasts I'll have to get top surgery.
Though i forgot about binders. I'm hoping i get ones like my father's side of the family, not the enormous ones my moms family has
I'd Be Interested In This Too, I Would Personally Live To Have Breasts, But I Feel Like I'd Absolutely Hats Having Large Ones, Anything Bigger Than Like The Small Side Of Medium I Probably Wouldn't Like Honestly.
Question About This, Is It Actually Necessary? Like Would Something Bad Happen If You Didn't Take That But Kept Taking The Estradiol?
so it is and it isn't. if you don't take a t-blocker while taking a normal sized dose of estrogen you pretty much won't see any effects. some people are able to go for a non traditional approach and take a significantly higher estrogen dose instead of t-blockers, but i've never experienced this personally
I See, Well That's Rather Unfortunate.

Hmm.. I Wonder..
