Every raid without fail on Shoreline on AUS server atm has cheaters. Between people running you down and nading you vs the ones who just insta gib you 5 seconds in, I think I'm about done with this game. Hopefully BSG can realise soon that they need to solve this problem regardless of cost, or the game is going to die and their income along with it.

How many raids do you reckon you see cheaters on Sydney servers? I'm 90% or more sure I died to a cheater in maybe 3% of raids, and maybe 10% on labs.
On OCE for every raid that's a death to a cheater there are probably 5 more raids where a cheater used radar/walls or loot vacuum cheats to completely avoid combat and detection, meaning you would never know there was a cheater in your raid. Just go to reserve and look for high value loot, it's never there on OCE.

How can you actually seriously think they are cheating because the loots gone? Reserve is famous for people running in and exiting. I don’t spend more than 15 minutes on that map….
You claiming cheats there is 1000 percent anecdotal, which is the lowest form of evidence accepted in the scientific community.

Depends on map and time of day and even how you play. When me and my friend were running Interchange every day for past 2/3 weeks farming Killa, minimum of 1-3 cheaters per day. But we had one night that was EXTREMELY bad, it was like 2-4AM on Sunday and I'd say we ran into 10+ super suspcious deaths, Chinese names, getting wall banged through map terrain etc.

every raid theres at least 1 cheater I'd say it's pretty bad. die maybe 30% to cheater if thats generous. Plenty of soft hackers that prenade you and just wallhack. cheaters are everywhere.

Any event related to money farming is not going to be fun because of hackers. The game is already difficult enough for you to survive and if you add the hackers one in every game, how could you have fun?..
I really hope the alternative motive to this event is catching cheaters. BSG better pay attention

Yea but we keep playing. Only way to get them to fix the stuff that absolutely needs fixing(desync, netcode, servers, cheating, audio, macros banning)is to organize and stop playing. If their player base drops dramatically they might actually put some of that 50mil in sales revenue from last year to good use.

It truly matters on where you are. NA central legit has a very low amount of cheaters. Sucks for Aus bros.
Take a break and go play DayZ like I did. Much less angry and much more happy. Rearmed servers on DayZ are exactly like tarkov almost too.

I was on top of sniper rock at tunnel extract with a suppressed DVL, I shot a guy on the hill to cottage and he turns around and full auto sprays me wit BT and hit me in the head 5 times before one went through.
My friend next to me got hit 3 times in the head with a bastion and the MOA of the AK he was using was causing some shots to miss as he ran away and died by his other friend.

I’ve been playing since January 2018. I quit 5-6 weeks ago because of cheaters. If it is worse now… I don’t see how anyone who isn’t cheating is still playing. At least in other games you don’t lose your shit and have your progress stifled.

Because not all servers are "infested" with cheaters. We play in the 5 midwest US servers and rarely encounter clear cheats (though we still do probably 1 raid out of 20).
It hasn't been to bad on DC, Atlanta, and Toronto servers. Can't remember the last time I got hit by an obvious one... probably first month of wipe but I've been encountering other problems... more desync than usual and I have gigabyte internet ipv4 and don't run a virtual machine or VPN. Very high amounts of stutter and dropped frames. Horrible audio.
Central US and died to ridiculously obvious cheaters on 4/5 raids today. 3 shoreline 2 interchange.

Not just AUS lol. Played 5 raids so far today NA Central/East. 3 Shoreline 2 Interchange. Died to obvious cheaters on all but one of the Shoreline raids. BLATANT cheaters. Not even just suspicious. It’s out of control right now.
I’m even finding the US servers to be getting my pretty awful

If you aren't rushing to the resort you'll probably be ok, most of the server will be there, but not many will be leaving.
What makes you think distance means ANYTHING at all to hackers? Or walls for that matter. Or trees. You're better off ignoring all combat events.

For all the naysayers out there I literally had a guy called SpawnNadeOnHead do exactly that.
6 nades rapidly delivered to mine and my mate's feet from afar.
Seen at least 3 people zip across the horizon at lightning speed this week.
Had another guy wipe out the entire raid on shoreline. After the first 3minutes not a single shot fired. 10 minutes in my mate gets lazered down by automatic fire straight to the head. I run behind a (big) rock, attacker has no way of knowing where I am, I hear gunshots hitting the rock on the other side, I think he's getting third partied. Nope. He was just trying to wallbang me. Dude comes one frame over the hill and head eyes me.
Oceanic is notoriously bad for hackers.
I feel like we were in your server on shoreline. My squad, (and later on found a streamer who was in our game) also get wiped by one player on shoreline. My off-sider and myself pushed him as we had nothing else going for us and we fought him on two angles and he got us both at the same time, prior to that, he knew where I was every time I went behind rocks or relocated.. It's fast becoming a "ill play next wipe" game. If I could trust I wouldn't disconnect in other servers I'd swap.
That was our third in a row squad wipe to a hacker that night too. I've played EFT since its laggy arse alpha launch way back when but its never EVER been as bad as it has this wipe.
My experience would back up that the further from china, the lower the "sus" deaths are. I have had 1 sus death in 125 raids this wipe. Played only on east coast US servers. I also don't play interchange much (I just don't care for it not that I've avoided it).

I am on the East Coast and maybe ran into one suspicious death in all my time playing. I always see these posts about cheaters but can never figure out why I don’t see them. I guess if you are not near eastern Europe/Russia or China you are generally safe.
Its funny to me when anyone here says this game is going to die, its not, no matter what bugs and cheaters it is, it will not die.
Game won't die, but certain regions with extremely small playerbase like Aus/OCE will for sure. Happened to PUBG and Apex Legends.

Oh absolutely! I do hope more competition comes to this style as competition makes it better for all of the consumers. Just not sure how long it will be until we get another game similar to this.
Battlefield 2042 has a mode that will be similar so not to long my friend not to long.

It’s not just AUS servers. NA servers were littered with them last night. What a shame too because it’s a fun event.
It is worse for Aus, we have small playerbase/population as it is and we don't really have any other servers to go to because our ping is too high to the rest of the world. We could use a VPN to change to other servers, but I doubt most people would want to play Tarkov with 100-150ping, not to mention the servers we can move to are just other Asian countries like Japan or Singapore, which are probably also riddled with Chinese cheaters.

Can confirm. Me and my buddy got east wing God spawn, as we got half way through the courtyard, head eyes by a player somehow already in admin ground floor. Impossible without speed hacks or BSG re adding the old rock passage spawn.
It’s not surprising to me at all that the first event that’s actually fun and worth a damn is completely ruined by cheaters. On the flip side at least interchange has been pretty easy to deal with, I don’t think I ran into a hacker once on interchange yesterday.
I heard all the hackers went to Shoreline so I thought it would be a great time to get my Labs quests done. 3 out of 4 raids we died to cheaters. The one raid we didn't die, we hid in the sewers for the first 10+ minutes so they probably just didn't feel like going out of their way to get us.
They can teleport around the map. Traversing the map isn't an issue for them.
Depends on the types of hacks used. Some hackers use them in a smart manner to try not to trigger alarms. Traversing through walls and teleporting can trigger BSGs checks they have in place.
Some just use wall hacks or ESP to know where you are. Some just use aim bots. These are usually accounts that are higher level and have higher editions of the game.
The others are sub level 20 non-eod accounts that try to make as much profit in as little time as possible before their account gets banned.

Thats almost certainly desync. Nobody would run 995 and aimbot legs.
They'd be running flesh damage rounds instead of AP rounds if they're focusing legs with cheats, because it would be a lot less sus to be hit with 5-6 shots of warmageddon in the legs than 12 shots of 995.

Flip side, other maps are semi dead which is kind of nice. Liek you I got to play interchange a few times with nothing suspect or obvious, reserve is absolutely dead silent right now too.
