For the last one you should have just put a duty pop since it always pops the moment you get up

I wish it was just as I got up, it's always when I'm like mid pouring a coffee or some VERY impractical time like that :(

changing maps is as golden as a trip to the bathroom to get duty finder to pop.

In case you didn't know, FF14 has some of the most advanced AI to be sure to pop your queue the moment you go afk.

As a DRK main who is playing RDM at the moment, the best way to speed up your queue time is to enter a cutscene, the longer the cutscene the faster your Queue time is, OR when you teleport to any place your queue will instantly pop as you wait the (what feels like) 5 minutes as you try to enter the Gold Saucer

I had to watch THAT cutscene in Stormblood like 4 times because my queue time said 20 minutes, but I found a party in like 5 minutes everytime, I had to stop queuing just to actually watch the cutscene

And then you come back and miss the queue you skipped ahead in. And so the cycle continues. Oh piss god, show us mercy

Sometimes I'm in the middle of a cutscene and queue pops. I try to speedread the text so I can accept the queue only for the screen to fade back to the overworld in the last 5 seconds. God damnit. Requeues.

I summon party members by using the restroom. Been able to do that for years.

Sometimes, when you're queueing for something specific, it's like "Less than 5 mins" and then you see healers/tanks not wanting to wait and queue slowly going up overtime. Welp, time to queue something else

Ngl yesterday I sat in queue with a friend (both dps) for 8 minutes or so. As soon as I get up to grab some water, DING. Okay I guess drinking isn't an option now.

I was leveling drg in shb dungeons and actually got a few instant queues. I wonder if melee dps is becoming outpopulated by ranged.

Today i had as a tank : waiting time 30min - dungeon pop under a minute AND after : waiting time 5 min - dungeon pop 54min... I hate when this happens.

I click the duty pop up then finally run to piss or grab a drink and when I get back someone had declined, it repopped and timed out.

As DPS, I know this feeling all too well. I actually had this experience yesterday. While I was searching for a dungeon, I decided to get up and grab a drink. Before I knew it, I had amassed a full party. It's always when you're doing something else that the servers decide to connect you with others.
