/r/tf2, I really need some advice
Okay, here's the shit that's gone down. This is a bit of a long-winded explanation, but you can skip to the TL;DR if you want and see if it's any use.
So at some point in my distant, nooby past, I crafted a few achievement weapons into scrap. Wasn't really aware of the consequences at the time. A bit later, I got some more metal together and crafted some rec (using the achievement metal) and then a ref. At this point, I realised that the ref was untradeable, and hurriedly smelted it back into scrap, hoping to salvage some metal.
I fucked up royally, guys. I now have 9 non-tradeable scrap sitting in my inventory. I can't craft it into anything without that item also being non-tradeable.
What am I going to do? Is there any way to salvage this mess, or should I just give up and try to make craft hats before condemning it to oblivion?
TL;DR: I have a ref's worth of scrap that I can't trade. Should I remove this poison or is there some way to get around the trading restriction?

Get another ref and craft the UHHH, that's going to end up untradeable anyways because of the haunted metal scrap. Plus, it's cool.
