Okay, here's the shit that's gone down. This is a bit of a long-winded explanation, but you can skip to the TL;DR if you want and see if it's any use.
So at some point in my distant, nooby past, I crafted a few achievement weapons into scrap. Wasn't really aware of the consequences at the time. A bit later, I got some more metal together and crafted some rec (using the achievement metal) and then a ref. At this point, I realised that the ref was untradeable, and hurriedly smelted it back into scrap, hoping to salvage some metal.
I fucked up royally, guys. I now have 9 non-tradeable scrap sitting in my inventory. I can't craft it into anything without that item also being non-tradeable.

Hey, r/tf2. I've recently made some early forays into trading for my first time since around 2009. I've got my eyes focused on a Strange Minigun, but checking the prices for Strange weapons has me confused. Most Strange weapons are 0.3 - 2 ref, but Miniguns, Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers are all three or four times as expensive. Why? They come from the same crate series as a lot of cheaper Stranges. Is there a lower probability of them being uncrated, or is there just higher demand?
No, Demoman. That is not how you hold the grenade launcher.
steamcommunity.com/id/x11r7/screenshot/595833...You can see a screendump of the relevant image above. Basically while I'm doing Tribunal work, I rarely load the actual champion name and never load their icon. When their name doesn't load this can sometimes make it difficult to judge cases - like determining whether they have troll items, or what their role is.
I'm using Chrome without any extensions. Is anybody else getting this bug?
Basically just what the title says. I understand the basic team composition (2 range, 2 melee, 1 tank, with 2-3 AP and 2-3 AD) and have played some draft games, but how else do ranked games differ in terms of meta? I understand elo as a way of ranking players and matching them with their opponents, but what kind of reference points are there? (i.e, what's a 'good' or 'bad' elo?)
In essence, how do I avoid totally humiliating myself with my ignorance?
EDIT: Just for reference, I prefer to play tanky AP (Cho, Mao, Rumble) but can also play support (Janna, Sona) and AD range if necessary (Trist, TF)
I am not an experienced player, so if you are prone to raging at people for asking stupid questions then you might want to leave now.
Okay, here it is. Is it actually possible to be an effective jungler without runes? I don't want to sound like a whining bitch here, but after purchasing Udyr and Trundle - both without trying beforehand - I am still barely capable of clearing the first 2 camps (which ones? Take your pick) without having to go B prematurely.
I know what's going on. I know how to use my abilities to the best effect and when to use health potions, but at the end of the day I still get fucked over by Wraiths, or Blue, or whatever. Either I have no hp, or I have no mana, or usua
Since we've got this nice IP boost going, I've been wondering whether to invest in Maokai. I've heard him described as an AP/tank hybrid, which sounds just dandy since I main Cho'Gath, but I'm uncertain whether this is true or just bullshit - and 6300 is a lot of IP.
Thoughts, r/lol? How does he fare to those of you that know what you're talking about?
EDIT: Okay, cheers everyone. Thanks for everything, especially the strategies and builds. Regrettably I've been away for the last nine or so hours so I couldn't respond to everything, but I've read pretty much all of it and upvoted where I can. I'll buy him and see how things go.
