I know this is a first world problem, but damn. I don’t think anyone has worked on it in the last three weeks, yet it is still closed. Should have reopened in May. It looks like it needs one more layer of asphalt. What is the hold up? Any ideas??

York, Stevenson and the work on Allen bridge (which is starting new weekend closures) has created quite the clusterfuck for accessing downtown from that end.
Hopefully they do to speedvale between Edinburgh Road and Silver Creek Parkway next. Potholes that will swallow tires whole

There is a sign near the corner of Stevenson and Eramosa that says it will be closed until September 30th. So maybe (hopefully) by then?
Well that gives me a glimmer of hope. Clearly I haven’t seen that sign.
I do realize it’a a petty annoyance. But it would make getting across to Speedvale so much easier.
It was supposed to be open on July 27th, but the city took that page down. Now there's a notice saying the street will be closed as of that date... as if we don't remember that it's been closed for nearly a full year.
I've heard asphalt needs a long time to cure. Not sure if that's overall or for each layer.
Could be that something is messed up and they may need to reopen the hole
Same with the bridge over the Speed river on Speedvale.. just a bottleneck going East with one lane closed off and nobody working on it at all.

I forgot there were two. I was speaking of the one at Eramosa down to Ryan or Rosedale.
Looks like it should be opening soon. Just drove by that area and they are working on it today!!
