Hi. Like the title indicates, I will be filling my prescription for the first time at Costco. I’m wondering what the availability is like. Same day? A couple days? Do I need to give myself some wiggle room?

I will be taking my second shot this weekend, so I’ve a couple weeks to go. My doctor was nice enough to give me a sample to see how I tolerate it.

What are the Reddit filters that would cause a post to be removed??

There was a seemingly innocent post about AC coil replacement that was removed by Reddits filters.

We’ve got issues.

Our window well has been filling up with water anytime there is a hard down pour. The galvanized steel thing has pulled away from the foundation. Our first order of business is to get that repaired but I don’t know where to start.

Has anyone used any local companies to come in and replace a window well?

We will also most likely need a landscape company to regrade part of our backyard since it can’t handle the water in that window well - if anyone has suggestions for that.

Or maybe not odd, but I’m having trouble finding someone.

Does anyone know of anyone that will come out and re-stretch carpet and tack it??

We had a water leak and pulled our carpet up to tear out the under padding and dry the carpet out. We are now having the drywall replaced, but need the carpet put back down before the trim goes in next week.

Any recommendations or suggestions??

I’d hate to recarpet the entire area, the carpet is only 4 years old and in great shape.

Specifically for pork. We usually get a cherry bbq sauce from a store in Kitchener. But I don’t feel like driving to Kitchener just for bbq sauce.

What stores have the best selection??

Bonus points if anyone can recommend a good bbq to use with pulled pork. The cherry one is my personal favorite. But I’m open to trying others.

Is there anywhere that gives actual real time updates? The map tracker says it will be in Cornwall in 25 mins. However, it’s said that for the last 4-5 hours while the train sits in Les Coteaux.

This train probably should have been cancelled out of TO today.

Unfortunately our heat pump is not blowing heat. Only cold air. The unit was only in use for 16 months before this happened.

The company that installed it has diagnosed it with either being a failure with the solenoid valve. Or the reversing valve. They state they can’t determine which one it is until they replace the solenoid valve - which is the cheaper option. That in and of itself seems fishy to me, but I’m not a heat pump repair person.

So the cost break down is $489 (1hr) in labor for the solenoid valve. And $2199 (5-6hrs) in labor for the reversing valve replacement. The parts are covered under warranty.

But something just does not feel right about this quote. We are in SW Ontari

Around 1:20 at York and Elizabeth. He was leaning against a hydro pole, aiming the blow dart toward the OR lands. I’m assuming at something in a tree?? It looked like he used it, because he made a movement and then turned and walked down York toward Victoria.

He was wearing a green Halloween mask. And a red/black buffalo check hoodie/jacket.

It was very odd. All this happened while I was stopped at the light.

I’m not sure if this belongs here - but I’m a little desperate.

My US passport expired. I just got some awful news tonight and need to get back to the states quickly.

Is there a way to get an emergency passport renewal? This is a family emergency, if it matters. I don’t think it would count as immediate family, as it’s my nephew.

I’m a PR in Canada and have been trying to book an appointment online at the US Consulate in Toronto without success.

Any help/tips/tricks would be appreciated.

I walk through a lot of parks daily and none are being mowed. The grass/weeds are up to my knees in at least four of them that I’ve been through this week alone. And it’s only Tuesday.

I don’t remember past years being this way.

And yes, I realize this is a first world problem. But I am also trying to avoid ticks on both myself and my dog.

We have a retaining wall at the sidewalk of our property. I am trying to figure who is responsible for it. We live in the St George Park area. There are lots of these retaining walls in the area.

The one in front of our house is leaning outward over the sidewalk. If it’s city owned, I’d like to start my campaign to get it fixed, since I’m guessing it isn’t something that moves quickly.

Like the title states - I’m looking for a plant for a bright room - but it’s northwest facing. The spot where I want to house the plant is on an interior wall away from the windows.

I have an empty corner that I’d like to fill with a large plant. But I also want the plant to thrive, not suffer due to lighting issues.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

I know this is a first world problem, but damn. I don’t think anyone has worked on it in the last three weeks, yet it is still closed. Should have reopened in May. It looks like it needs one more layer of asphalt. What is the hold up? Any ideas??

Does anyone have a no pull harness that fits their V well?? I am having a heck of a time finding one that will fit him properly. Either the chest part isn’t tight enough or the neck part isn’t tight enough. Thanks!
