Wifi Calling Trial woes...
I just purchased a trial sim for Mint, hoping to switch over. Activated Mint to discover I have no Mint service at my home. Zero signal. So I tried to activate Wifi Calling to see if that would be a reliable enough solution for my situation, only to discover that Mint won't allow you to try Wifi Calling during the trial. They flat refuse to enable it on their end. I've talked to customer support twice now to no avail. They say their policy is that I have to buy a full plan first in order to try wifi calling. But I'm not willing to buy a full plan, and port my number over, until I know I will actually have reliable service at home.
Does anyone know why this wifi calling/trial policy is in place?

It's always been like that. You need to have an actual account to turn on/use WiFi calling, which you can't do on a trial SIM.
If you're getting zero signal wherever you're at using whatever phone you're using, Mint probably isn't for you IMHO.
There are no providers that work well at my home address. So I'm basically left looking for a provider that has stable wifi calling. Right now, I'm using Google Fi -- and it does not.
Ahhh, well, the only option would be to buy a plan. If it doesn't work, they have a 7 day refund policy.
I suggest trying this.
