Try as I might, I always come back to some variation on a tech-rush technocracy. With the new "masterful crafters" (I thought no that's what it's called?) civic, I'm really looking forward to that extra boost to engineering so I don't lose as much time upgrading pops. Presuming it's still compatible this might be the time I bite the bullet and try gigastructures too. Anybody else?

If technocracy will be compatible with masterfull crafters it will be very strong. Literally the only build that I’m waiting for right now
I haven't seen anything that says it isn't... Man I hope.
I am a bit too much of a dwarf nerd and like playing them. My next playthrough will also be dwarves with master crafters. I like playing them as a megacorp, really. The guilds took over the kingdom. Is master crafters compatible with megacorp? I won't be home for a few hours to look at anything.

I can confirm that megacorps have a civic that is the same as masterful crafters and pleasure seekers, I made a megacorp with both last night. Can't remember what the megacorp version is called.
Already have a dwarf empire with syncretic evolution origin, with lithoids as a second race. Civics were functional architecture and mining guilds, I guess architecture is going to be replaced with masterful crafters. Should be a strong build with some role play vibes:)
I have a custom Dorf Union with a Shattered Ring named Matul Remrit. Looking forward to playing them with the new civic.
I'm doing a technocracy + master crafter run atm. It's pretty good and helps alleviate the problem of energy, disproportionate engineering, and the techoncracy nerf all at once
Yeah, I'm loving mine so far. The neighborhood is really friendly right now too, which is great because we can focus on digging holes and making stuff.
I want to either have fun with the Plantoids or I want a hivemind Necrophage
