They mean fences scav karma task/event where I think all scavs are hostile no matter what or something like that and you need to kill pmcs without killing scavs

6 is the requirment to get max scav bonuses, such as LL4 Fence, being able to chill with bosses, etc.
But so far there is no cap to how high your scav karma can go

I met griefers on a few interchange runs that would intentionally shoot around your head to trick you into killing them so you lose karma

As a PMC you can car extract. Each time gets your rep up a little. Im sure i read that you can only do it a few times a week for a decent rep increase but dont quote me on that!

They just changed it where you just have to complete scav raids to up your karma

Yeah, if you're fine doing 600 scav raids if your karma is 0.00, don't kill non-hostile scavs and even get out of the raid alive that is.
The extra 0.01 karma for surviving a scav raid is nice, but not a reliable way to farm karma. It's better to rush car extracts as a pmc or try your luck with pmc + scav extracts

I'm sorry I don't feel bad, factory is such a shit show you have to know what you're getting yourself in to, to go there as a scav. like I don't think I've gone there once this wipe as a scav without a scav shooting at me let alone tagilla running rampant. I feel like if you're go I ng to factory as a scav you're asking to lose karma or die alot

Started late last wipe, got pretty used to killing scavs. Got down to like -2.3 before I read the patch notes about karma. Made my way back up to almost 2.0 now, but it coulda been more

This system is kind of broke still. I shot a traitor scav who had freshly killed a scav I just passed. Then who I assume was his buddy, shot at me so I blew his head off. All in all -.06 scav karma today after extracting. Rep in the match should extend between party members.

You'd be surprised how peaceful interchange is these days, but i'm also not part of those that whine when they eventually get shot. But finally having some ambivalence and not just a "kill on sight" mentality improved the game a lot for me this wipe

This is my first wipe and I had no idea what scav karma was until I had completely ruined it
Same dude, I got to -0.7 scav karma before I realized it even existed and now I haven't been able to get it back up, especially with this scav event. Haven't had a single good scav run since it started :(
Do car extracts as a pmc there are 3 of them one on interchange at power station and one at customs near dorms and one on woods near the small village on the bridge each time you do an extract first time it gives i think 0.30 karma ten you can also do scav pmc extracts
How did you go negative that hard without noticing anything. It comes up on the screen when you be a naughty boyski.
