Hi guys, I am a complete beginner to FPV but I have been practicing on a simulator. Super excited to get into the hobby!!
Just bought a HDZero Crux35 but it seems like there are a ton of other things that I need to get it up and flying. Am I forgetting anything? Want to make sure I am able to fly it when it arrives :)
- HDZero Crux35
- HDZero Goggles
- TX16S Mark II Radio Controller (Mode 2) + batteries
- ELRS Module
- Antenna (A bit confused about this - any suggestions for some good antennas?)
- Batteries for the drone? (does this seem l
What if instead of stacking a bunch of logs, I were to mill them on a chainsaw mill, use the milled beams to make a wooden frame that is fastened into the ground with concrete, and nail on the left over slab wood to the frame as a sort of siding to form a wall (rounded edges outwards, flat edges forming the inner wall)? You could probably make some really nice, flat wooden flooring in the same way (rounded slab edges facing downwards).
It seems like a really efficient way to get a cabin built for warmer climates where the walls don't need to be super thick. I figure there's probably some drawbacks to this building technique that, as an inexperienced builder, I probably haven't considered, s
Although there is definitely something to be said for traditional ASCII graphics, tile graphics are becoming increasingly important as developers attempt to make their game accessible to casual players. One of the most time difficult parts of developing a roguelike is coming up with good looking representations for each possible tile state, especially because of the emergent aspect of roguelikes, where absurd situations like "petrified goblin riding a tiny glowing hydra" are common.
I recently watched a video on DALL-E and while I don't think it will work directly, with some customization a similar model could have huge potential to generate massive numbers o
Although I love a good clicker game, I have played enough of them that I get tired of them pretty quickly. Now I find myself looking for something more with more substantial gameplay mechanics.
Here is a list of some of my personal favorite incremental games that have more gameplay then a typical idle game:
- Disgaea - Tactical RPG where you grind your characters until they become living gods, and then pit them against other living gods. Stats and abilities exponentially. You can enter mystery dungeons inside your weapons to make them super powerful. As a warning - the writing is awful, so most people just play for the gameplay.
- Factorio - Automate production lines to unlock cool technol

docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-HgDCZM8Sa...Hi guys,
I have been having a great time practicing kalimba tutorials on Youtube and I want to try creating some tutorials of my own to practice a couple songs that nobody has covered yet. I'm comfortable with editing midi but i'm not sure how to convert the midi into a video. What software is used to make the videos with falling notes?
(As a side note, if you are a kalimba tutorial creator - thank you. Even when nothing else is fun, playing along with your videos guitar-hero style is always a blast).
How's the ping? I need to be able to play Counter-Strike competitively.
