I'd say the shit has already hit the fan, but a general apathy and the "Well, it doesn't affect me personally" attitude keeps stuff from moving forward. The average person wouldn't panic as long as governments don't intervene, and why would they? They benefit the most. It's quite akin to being the frog in a slow-cooked stew.

The truth is, very little people care about privacy right now, i've been trying my best to get people to use Monero, telling them the benefits but most people just want to get rich quick and other projects in this bull run (Solana, Quant etc) give far more gains than Monero.

Monero is a great future project but right now people just don't care. If people want to make money in order to stack up more on Monero, buy other projects and then put those profits later this year into Monero.

Staying with Monero while the brainwashed people are buying the other coins won't get you anywhere. You can always go back to Monero later in the year. As much as i love Monero, people just don't give a shit right now.

The price of the token is really low now, so im still buying in because i belive a price of 20k would be the right price, that would put Monero at third place right between Ether and Cardano.

Best performing assets are ussualy bad performing assets on the previous year.

Monero just needs an small amount of traction to start snowballing, it IS the real bitcoin... so no question there.

I give myself a good amount of copium hoping that people just don't get it and im sneaking in on the cheap. I will say tail emissions are happening soon and there arent as many monero as people think. What isn't helping monero is exchanges trading paper xmr and people not yet securing their crypto themselves. Once there is a mass exodus of crypto from exchanges in the future - we will see what people choose to keep and leave in the exchange.

I'm honestly waiting for at least SOME of the masses to wake the fuck up in regards to privacy. And I think if some tech firms actually started building out devices that were almost solely focused on the privacy of the user, they would do very well in the long term. XMR would absolutely be a part of that as it is essentially the fabric of monetized privacy and should be implemented into that type of digital landscape when the time hopefully arises. Although I may very well be being far too optimistic here.
