I completely agree. I just want to be excited for this show without hearing about FF or people complaining about GOT. I really don’t want these kind of posts bleeding into this sub.

Oh it's not just because of this random person. It's a statement I see spouted everywhere which has gotten frustrating regardless of how much I generally try to ignore it. It feels you can't have a postive discourse about the show without someone saying this stuff which isn't even true in the first place.

Yeah, it's such bollocks. Everyone I know who watched GoT is super excited for HOTD. Including myself.
Not true from your point of view. The last season is vastly disliked by many. Ignoring that is your choice but don't get frustrated because other people don't.
I don't think the new series will be bad because the last season of thrones was. I actually have high hopes for the show. I think the new show being good and the last season being bad simply aren't linked. They're two different shows.
