Dice roll broken or am I lucky?

I rolled 100 on a daily dice roll, then rolled 100 on the weekly VIP roll.

Got a +8 con tome.

You're welcome for my last 30 rolls under 10...

Must have taken my luck from getting a 1 on both same day a few weeks ago.

It's a 1:10000 chance for that on any day you're doing a weekly roll, so just very lucky :-)

random is random

I hit 99 on gold the other day, got a heroic wood, snow leopard or cat, and 10k, then rolled an 80something on silver that day, forgot what that was though.

You're just very, very lucky. I've rolled 100 once in the last year+ (and that was only a Silver roll - not Gold). I get 1-40 way more than 40% of the time.

Just 2 in row can easily be coincidence, but on my rolls on diff characters I noticed a thing: (to be clear - each person on each hardware can have diff speeds) when I click to roll right of the bat - then more often than not I get low rolls (many if not most give like 100 xp). If I wait a bit after roll interface loads before clicking the roll button situation changes drastically - then I only occasionally get low rolls.

So my theory is that if you keep your setup consistent and use auto-clicker - you could fish the timing for good rolls.

Yeah, naah. I doubt the servers let your hardware have any hand in that calculation.

I agree. If any of that was PC controlled then you could reverse engineer it. Which, in fairness, is what he's suggesting but likely wont be predictable enough with one roll a day.

I don't, I just think that the roll randomize implementation is flawed - that it isn't so random and it depends on time it is running. So it could be exploited. Person and its hardware is like an input lag - are some variables to timing. As for where it's running I don't know.

My point about hardware and human is about timing when you start roll, not about it happening on client hardware. I meant that even if I usually get low rolls when I start it right away (usually on reflex - so basically same time), other person or even myself on diff PC can get his usual (on reflex) roll range shifted.
