I don’t want to see people getting killed in my Reddit feed, I don’t appreciate that Reddit has no way to block/hide entire subreddits, and I certainly don’t want violent content “suggested” to me.
I’ve never seen anyone else complain about this, so I’m guessing it’s unpopular. Reddit certainly isn’t expecting people to react this way to violent content.
I specifically had a subreddit called “gunfights” suggested to me while browsing popular on the Reddit mobile app. A highly upvoted post, that was not hidden behind a NSFW/NSFL tag, show a person getting shot in the head.
I think if it wouldn’t be shown on network TV without a graphic content label, it shouldn’t be on the front page of Reddit.
And why is there no rule against violent or disturbing content? And no way to report such content?

I just want to block r/popping
This is why I don't use Facebook after videos began playing automatically. Like hey there is my beautiful nieces playing in the park! Awww. Next video some giant mound of puss launching out of someone's neck
Puss... or pus. Definitely gives different meaning to this.
Shrek fucked up my autocorrect. My bad.
C'mon Shrek. Why you do? Thanks for the laugh :)
Literally rather watch an ISIS beheading than see another gallon of puss launch from someone born to cosplay Jabba The Hutt.
Long ago I made Facebook semi-usable by blocking the source of any link anyone posted. It was a lot of work but it allowed me to see friend’s content without news/politics/forwards from grandma. It lasted about a year before everyone else who posted good content stopped using it and then I stopped as well.
My nightmare.
