I needed that closure.
Oh thank god, me too
I bet that little dragon made himself toast
Sweet, sweet, closure.
This brings me an intense sense of joy
Awn! Look at him sleeping on the bread! This is so precious! 🥺
I can only imagine the pressure the artist got to make that second piece lol
This reminds me of that oppossum that got into the bakery and ate himself stuffed with jelly pastries.
Thank you for the closure 🥺
This artist could make a fortune creating tension and then closure, in the context of cute fantasy creatures.
I lived off art for 10 years. I wish I had kept it as simple as this concept.
God now all I need is a followup to the followup with our boy keeping the ovens hot
My disappointment is nonexistent, and my day is improved
are you heartless give him some bread
give him his bread goddamn it
Does he want the warm bread, or does he think it’s gold?
Wow! I met the artist yesterday at Comic-con and my friend bought this exact piece from her. I grabbed a few ATLA themed ones. She's a great artist.
Piggybacking on this comment to promote Devin’s IG! She has story highlights of her processes, and she accepts questions as she posts her progress, too! She doesn’t have a process highlight for these two dragon pieces, but there are for her other dragon art.
Devin's stuff is amazing! I have 6 of her prints all over my place right now and they make me so happy.
I'm not an artist but the process stories are great too, she's a great teacher.
Wow, I’m so jealous! I ordered her book on kickstarter and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
awwww I'd adopt him and feed him vury well. come to think of it of that was real I'd be a Hagrid lol
I think it’s actually a different dragon, but I was lucky enough to get a copy of this print signed by the artist herself! Popular booth back during Gencon, with lots of wonderful art!
I know there's a second image, let this boi have his bread
I thought he might've mistaken them for burning embers which dragons eat to build up their fire but turns out he actually just wanted the bread. (:
I saw update, I hope the dragon also gets hugs (really nice art btw!)
Makes me think of that raccoon that broke into a bakery and ate so much it couldn't move. They found it in the morning lying in a tray of danishes.

With a magic cafe
There's a tiny dragon
That makes creme brulee"
Give him the bread you monster!

This looks like it could be concept art straight out of a Disney movie!

Give the dragon his bread
Let the boy in
The owners adopt him and use him to light the oven.
This reminds me of the little dragon working in a café and making crême brulée.
The dragonfire-based cuisine industry really is the future
I love that image so much! The idea of a word filled with adorable little dragons doing useful things is just wonderful.
Basically The Flintstones with dragons...
