Current SREs - What companies (besides FAANG) have high performing SRE teams that you'd consider working at?

Hi all, was curious what people in the industry consider high performing SRE teams that may not be the obvious ones? (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google).

I'm currently in an SRE role and considering what companies I might want to work at next.

Thanks!

"High performing" is very vague, but i can recommend Prezi, the company i'm currently working for.
Remote position (Budapest)
Remote position (Berlin)

Define "high performing" - do you mean overworked in a high pressure environment?

Haha, the wording was intentionally vague. But no, I would prefer not to be overworked.

You definitely need to unpack what it is you’re looking for more. If you’re just looking for smart people, you’ll find that all over the place. But personally I would broaden your search to high performing engineering organizations, because it’s not possible to have a high performing SRE org without that, and vice versa.

Let me instead offer an alternate question that I'd love to know the answer to:

What do people in the industry consider as companies with reasonably competent SRE (and engineering in general) teams? Places where there are no death marches, vacations actually get taken, and stress is kept at a sane level?

The scope of SRE is more when the user base for the company or the project u working on is more. So i would recommend you to see companies who have active customers ( where they used the product daily).

I am having the same thoughts on joining a company with such product.
