Now that most of the major MWC announcement are over, what phone would you choose?

My contract is up next week (yay!) Everyone said, wait for MWC to be over before choosing a new phone, cause that's where they'll all get announced.

I feel personally a little underwhelmed by it, however, it's possible I missed something.

If I were to get something announced at MWC, I think it'd be the padfone, but without a price point, or any acknowledgement of carrier, I dunno. I also have a galaxy tab 10.1, so I don't really need the tablet/dock combo either.

The Galaxy Beam looks neat, but seems a little underpowered for a new phone.

I am on Verizon, so the obvious choice is the Galaxy Nexus.

What are everyones thoughts?

Nothing. Nothing is exciting, nothing is groundbreaking, nothing is new.

It's just the same old broken promises by carriers and manufacturers alike.

While I'm on that, WHERE IS ICS?!

Well, I understand feeling underwhelmed, but the HTC One S looks really good to me. With the smaller screen and dual-core processor rather than the new quad-core stuff, it should be priced right, too. The hardware looks great!

I'd still wait for the galaxy s 3.

Once Samsung said they wouldn't be unveiling the GSIII at MWC, I lost all interest. The One X shaped to be ok, and its little brother the One S looks better. With smallish, non-removable batteries, coupled with the fact that HTC is notorious for poor battery life, I can't get too excited. The Snapdragon S4 sounds beastly, though.

I just bought a GSM Galaxy Nexus, and I couldn't be happier with the hardware or software.

I'm waiting for 4g radios that aren't such a battery hog. That or larger batteries like in the maxx being more common but also replaceable.
