I previously posted about my tire pressures app, and the biggest thing people said was why would I pay money for this? I took that feedback to heart, and think the app is very useful, so I have re-released the app with an ad at the bottom for free.

Hi there, I've been shopping for another keyboard for work. I like the way the filco's look, but they're quite spendy. Are they really $50 better than the Das?

Generally what I hear about these things is old ladies destroying historically significant guns, and hurting my soul.

In an ideal world, I'd save these guns by setting my own tent up, but alas, no moneys.

I have been getting my girlfriend into shooting, and she doesn't like my AR, saying that it is too heavy (my scale says it weighs almost 12 pounds)

I have done some research and found a few different options out there, so far my favorite being the Bushmaster SuperLight Carbine with Red Dot, since it's quite cheap, which means if the polymer upper is an issue, can be replaced without much hassle.

I just wanted gunnits thoughts on the matter (of lightweight AR's in general and that particular one), thanks for your help!

My contract is up next week (yay!) Everyone said, wait for MWC to be over before choosing a new phone, cause that's where they'll all get announced.

I feel personally a little underwhelmed by it, however, it's possible I missed something.

If I were to get something announced at MWC, I think it'd be the padfone, but without a price point, or any acknowledgement of carrier, I dunno. I also have a galaxy tab 10.1, so I don't really need the tablet/dock combo either.

The Galaxy Beam looks neat, but seems a little underpowered for a new phone.

I am on Verizon, so the obvious choice is the Galaxy Nexus.

What are everyones thoughts?

I was hoping you could help me with something.

I was recently given a samsung galaxy tab 7 (SCH-I800 VZW), and saw that there were a couple of ICS alpha builds available for it, and thought id' try them out.

Well, I got ICS on it, though it was running a little slow, and not really stable enough for a daily driver, so I flashed it back to the stock ROM.

Problem is: Now, you hit the buttons and nothing happens (doesn't power on, doesn't go into recovery, doesn't go into download mode) and when you plug it in, all it seems to do is turn on the camera flash.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or do I get to use it as a paper weight now?
