[2’330] Dead Realm Theater

This is a standalone short story, though I do plan to write a longer story featuring the main character, Ghost/Erika Daye.

There is much more to her backstory than what is revealed here; this is only meant to be a short story, so I kept the details minimal. I do plan to write a longer story featuring this same character, but I wanted to see how Erika is perceived first. I refer to her as “Ghost” at the beginning of the story because that is the nickname she gave herself. Everyone thinks that Erika died in a fire that killed her parents, and now haunts the theater.

Plot summary

A group of teenagers breaks into an abandoned theater in New York on Halloween night in order to contact the ghost of Erika Daye. They do make contact with her, but it doesn’t turn out anything like they thought it would.
