Do trigger plugs/trigger springs help with shorthopping on the R button in Ultimate?

Help

I've been looking into this but I'm seeing so many contradictory statements. Some people say it helps a ton and some people say it only helps the full hop input, not the short hop.

I'm thinking about ordering some FIRES stuff but it'll cost a fair amount to get it delivered (I'm in UK) so any clarity you can give before I make the order would be greatly appreciated!

I mean technically no, trigger plugs only make the trigger gap smaller a so you get the press faster but you still actually have to have skill I'd you going to try and use it for short hopping, honest y/x+ A in my opinion works the best as far as short hop Arials

Thanks, does that mean the shorthop input comes out faster (not just the full hop)? If so that might be worth it, my problem is that often I do not depress the trigger enough and the input doesn't register.

A regular short hop is a fast in put, if you're trying to do it in a trigger you best bet is the zbutton, cause a it's a low key claw grip and b the z button is probably the more reactive button on the controller

You'd have to do the digital trigger mod for that to matter. Ultimate doesn't use the digital press of the trigger to shield, it instead uses around the half value of the analog slider being press.

This. In Ultimate you have to mod L and R (needs wires re-soldered) to truly get them to work like a Pro controller with the trigger plugs. By themselves, the longer trigger plugs do not work at all, and the short ones don't always either.

But yes if you do the mod, short hopping will be easier because it will make the buttons work far faster for most people.
