Cable management for musicians means having enough of them
Still a few cables hangin around, but I was able to hide most of them by putting up a tapestry behind the TV stand I'm using for my station.
I think that's a great setup that is for your ears and fingers more than the eyes. And I have my forks and spoons in that cable holder.
What's that funky box on the shelf at the top right?
That was a midi controller I built a few years ago. It never really worked but I keep it around for decoration.
It does look cool as hell
I have a similar shoe box to the one on the top right with 2 cds as turn tables and some knobs and faders given to me by my niece lol
Instant upvote for Tascam and Korg D1
On a scale from 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the Tascam Mixer/Interface/Daw Controller?
9 - I love it. It’s been a great upgrade from my ssl 2+. Tons of value for the price. I use it both with Ableton and as an interface for the mpc. The Bluetooth on it is garbage but that’s not what I got it for anyway.
I Seriously wonder why I don’t see it in more small home studios like your’s. It is a very valuable machine
How do you lika that tascam?
Love it
I'm looking to get one, I want to use it for recording but also for mixing through outboard stuff
It’s a great deal just as an mixer/interface, with that many inputs/outputs. All of the other features are a bonus.
Alright thanks! Will definately consider it!!
I had one of those cheap dart boards once and it dropped a ton of paint on the floor before I realized it was happening. Obviously it doesn't look like you're throwing darts at that wall but just had to say it
Random question but how are the Kalis? Been looking at them at work n wondering how they sound
They are a bit bigger than I needed in retrospect but really great for the price. I had a smaller set of presonus monitors before and I notice much more clarity on both the highs and the lows with these kalis.
Cool setup. Where is your laptop stand from?
I got it on amazon. Not sure of the brand.
Your setup looks fun, but I can't imagine the amount of back pain that would cause me.
There was an attempt.
