Issue with USB-C port on MSI X570 Tomahawk WIFI?
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: RTX 3080 FE
CPU: RYZEN 9 5900X
Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk WIFI
BIOS Version: 7C84v183
RAM: 32GB 4x8 HyperX Fury 3200mhz
PSU: Fractal Design ION+ 860P
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 PRO 19043
GPU Drivers: Game Ready Driver Version: 496.49
Description of Original Problem: Super Speed not available on USB-C 3.2 port
Troubleshooting:
So I'm using an MSI X570 Tomahawk WIFI along with a Ryzen 5900x and 32GB 3200mHz RAM.
Recently I bought a Logitech StreamCam for online meetings and plugged it into the USB-C 3.2 port on the backside of the case (so no front panel involved). The cam is limited to 30 FPS due to bandwidth issues reported on the port (it should be able to do 60FPS).
Checking on USBTreeView I can see that the port reports High Speed while the device requires Super Speed to provide 60FPS. The companion port and other USB-A 3.0 ports provide Super Speed to USB drives, so I'm not quite sure where I fall in the spectrum of USB speed issues associated with 400 and 500 series mainboards. (Never had dropouts or lag or anything like that).
I tried updating to the latest beta version of BIOS, running the latest chipset drivers, tried reverting to default settings in BIOS, tried disabling XMP, forcing Gen3 PCIe, disabled global c-states and all the other workarounds that have been found for AMD USB issues, no luck.
Any ideas what else to try or am I better off just getting a USB C to A adapter and try my luck on a regular USB 3.0 A port?

Check the cable you are using.
The cable is non-removable and directly attached to the camera.
I tried connecting the camera to a Lenovo laptop (T470) and it works there, so the cable and camera are fine, it's the mainboard's port that is the issue.
Ah, check the motherboard settings, then. You may also need to install USB and chipset drivers for your motherboard.
