Hi,

so I recently bought the M1 V5 TMR ISO and while it looks and feels great I'm starting to notice more and more when typing that there seems to be some inconsistency/delay when typing in 2.4Ghz mode. This results in either inputs being dropped or letters coming out in the wrong order (ie having to press p 3 times while typing "dropped" or the letters coming out as "dropepd", or when pressing backspace multiple times it will sometimes not delete a letter, stuff like that).

I tried recalibrating and fiddling around with the trigger distance settings but it's still not as smooth as typing in cable mode. I first had the 2.4Ghz dongle in my monitor's USB hub and figured there might be some i

So I just received the Pixel 10 Pro and synced my old files from a Pixel 8 and now my Gallery is all messed up (again) because it's only sorting by creation date (I think). Photos seems to be getting the dates right but apps like Twitter or Instagram seem to be looking at the Gallery app for media files.

Is there an easy way to restore the sorting I had on my old phone?

I've tried to Google for a solution but either they don't work for the Pixel because the Gallery app is forced onto the user there or it's outdated (ie can't mount as a drive because no mass storage mount option) or it's a premium feature on some app I have no way of knowing if it will actually work.

So this is the first Owlcat RPG I actually finished, and it was pretty good considering Warhammer games tend to be all over the place quality-wise.

There were some things that kinda bugged me throughout the whole 100 hour long playthrough though:

  • I wish the origin class had more impact throughout the game. It feels weird that there is one skill that sets the origin classes apart and you only get to use it once per fight. Putting skill points into making this skill better feels a bit like a waste because of this limitation.
  • There are a lot of skills, like a LOT of skills, it feels like I spent 20 hours of that playthrough just reading skill descriptions every time I leveled up my dudes.

so while doing yearly maintenance jobs on my Emonda SL7 I noticed what appears to be a crack above the rear thru axle hole.

Is this just the paint cracking or should I be concerned about potential frame damage?

So after the Bontrager Garmin mounts have been out of stock for months on all local online retailers I finally got my hands on the high mount version and it's very underwhelming. The fit is abyssmal which causes the bike computer (Karoo 2 with the Garmin adapter) to rattle around while riding, even on smooth tarmac.

I kind of solved this by applying electrical tape to the "wings" that click into the Garmin mount piece on the bike computer, but this is wearing down the tape whenever you remove the computer and the rattling also isn't fully gone.

(To rule out a fault with Karoo's adapter I tried it on different other Garmin mounts I have on other bikes and the fit there was very tight, no m

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Fantasy RPG/strategy game

Estimated year of release: late 90's or early 2000's, but leaning more towards 90's

Graphics/art style: 2D top down/isometric view

Notable characters: /

Notable gameplay mechanics: turn-based combat on a grid

Other details:

From what I remember the game is pretty much like Septerra Core but in a fantasy setting (I played this game first then discovered Septerra Core and instantly liked it). You control a party (I think of 4 characters) and during fights (which are turn based) you move on a grid. Your characters are also capable of special attacks (I remember one of my characters being able to produce some huge fire AoE spell) and I th

I was pretty hype when I saw the first trailer for Might and Magic X Legacy because I loved playing the series when I was younger. Then it turned out that the whole game would be grid-based, which I thought was kinda weird. M&M 6 is probably the best known game in the series and it introduced an open "free roam" world. Now it's 2013/2014 and we should have the technology to make a beautiful and big open world that takes a while to explore, but they decided to go with a grid-based world for the sake of being retro and true to games 1-5. While it wasn't too bad in the end, it's still somewhat of a negative point for me, simply because it will probably feel like I'm doing the same stuff i

I've been playing TW since Rome 1 and I enjoyed most games but Shogun 2 was the first one I couldn't really get into. I wasn't interested in the time period and the lack of unit variety but forced myself to play it in the weeks before the release of Rome 2. What I noticed immediately was that agents and raiding parties were annoying as hell because the AI would just spam you with them instead of using them strategically. You couldn't counter them once they're onto you though because your new agents would be taken out the same turn you recruited them.

So here comes Rome 2 and I'm enjoying myself playing my first campaign as Pontus and I notice that agents aren't as aggressive as they used to

So after steamrolling the game as Thrace I decided they were too civilized, so I wanted to play as a more Barbarian oriented faction. I choose Scythia with arcade style combat for this campaign (as in, I can kill pretty much every army as long as I can out-kite them and keep them from charging down my horse archers).

Soon I noticed though that they lack a lot of buildings. Plus side: you get your good units relatively early in the game. Now the bad: almost no commercial/financial or culture/public order buildings. The last upgrade to your governor's building is at 6000 pop. Not long after having upgraded all my settlements I noticed that I make almost no money while the people seem to get u

Have they been domesticated or something?

Playing RTW Vanilla I noticed why the Bastarnae are kinda lackluster when I finally got them: they lack the warcry ability other barbarian infantry has. I made an album here to show this.

Is this a bug or is there a reason behind this?

Given the stats and 2 hp they got I suppose their role is to soak damage on the frontline, although their overall defence is really low for heavy infantry. Their attack is lacking too because they don't have high attack, armor penetration or warcry.

How do you guys use them effectively? I feel like it would be better to just use the 2 turns they take to train to get a phalanx unit and f
