[2638] Steamcaster - Prologue Part 1

Steampunk/Sci-fi

Howdy y'all. This is the first half of the prologue I'm currently writing.

It is about two siblings trying to restore their family to the way it once was. The story will follow the two siblings as the two main protagonists.

I have some questions I'd hope you can address in your critiques:

  • Writing: Does it read well? Was it clear to read? Was the transitioning seamless or abrasive?
  • Characters: How did you feel reading the characters? Were they personalised enough? What improvements could be made in the characters?
  • Plot and Pacing: Is the plot interesting? Is the pacing too fast, too slow or moderate?
  • Dialogue: How are the character interactions? Does it sound believable?

And most importantly, does this make you want to read more?

Obviously, you don't need to answer all these questions. What's most important is your genuine critiques.
