1999 Toyota Corolla driver's side front and rear power windows failing

My car's driver side windows don't close completely. When I try to close them, they're slow and stop halfway up. Same thing for opening, but it's about 3/4 way down. To get them completely closed, I have to wait about 5 minutes and close them the rest of the way up. This has been going on for a year, but it wasn't this bad before. It really bothers me because I like driving with the windows open, but I'm getting rid of my car in a few months and am wondering if it's worth the fix.

My case is sort of similar to the Ford Explorer guy's post, except I haven't looked at anything at all (I don't really know how). Is there a cheap fix to this?
